Candy Islands - An experiment in KPT Bryce, a 3-D landscape modeling program. I love Bryce: although it may be the digital equivalent of the black velvet painting, there's something exhilarating about creating your very own photo-realistic extraterrestrial landscapes.

Dark Life - This is the same chain of islands with a different sky, different time of day, and some low-level fog added. I really like the feel of this image.

Chopper - This is a composite. The background was created in Bryce, and the helicopter and searchlight were added later in Photoshop. This picture is dedicated to Starshadow, who hopes to fly one of these one day. :-)

Lakeroom - I have recurring dreams about moving into strange apartments: some are nearly as bizarre as this one. I had this idea of creating an exterior scene within an interior space: it didn't work as well as I hoped. Still, the wallpaper's pretty cool.

Matrix - This was created entirely in Photoshop, with the help of some nifty KPT filters. I like the colours and textures.

Supervisor - I can't really take the credit for this. It started out as a piece of clipart that strongly resembles someone I know. I merely embellished it, using Photoshop, and placed the resulting image on said person's computer monitor as their screen background.

Sculpture Garden - Another digital collage, using a Bryce background, sections of some stock photos, and KPT Spheroid Designer to create the twin moons. I think this image has a pleasantly restful quality.

Puck Boy - I drew this handsome fellow on spec for a hockey team that was looking for a new logo. I think it captures the elegant charm of the sport quite nicely. Sadly, the client disagreed. Oh well - maybe there's another team out there who will appreciate it.

Mesas - One of my first Bryce attempts. The actual cliffs were part of the package of images included with the Bryce demo: the water and sky are mine. I love the little sandy hollow in the foreground: it looks like it would be a great place to curl up and take a nap.

Shelter - A pleasant place from which to contemplate the marmalade waves at the end of a long, hard day of walking on water.
